Physical Therapy Tune Ups

Physical Therapist Dr. Bethany Haver will be offering manual therapy sessions by appointment at Akron Athletic Collective on Friday, December 6th! These “tune-ups” are best for people who can currently train but have muscle soreness, irretractable tightness, joint motion restriction, or low/moderate intensity discomfort and just want to feel better. Manual therapy techniques may include dry needling, cupping, scraping, joint mobilization, or stretching. Investment: $75
Dr. Bethany Haver
Bethany is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the owner of Physio330 LLC. She opened this cash-based Physical Therapy practice in her hometown with a mission to help active individuals move better and live without limitations. Bethany grew up in competitive gymnastics and dance. She is a 2008 graduate of Firestone high school where she was active in cross country, diving, volleyball, swimming, and track. After high school, she continued her diving career at Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania where she earned four NCAA Division III All-America awards and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Bethany went on to continue her education at Chatham University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. She has 8 years of experience with post-operative and conservative management of the neck, back, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Bethany’s specialties include lower extremity injury management, dry needling, return to running, sports recovery optimization, and manual therapy. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a USA Track & Field Level 1 certified running coach. She is a recreational distance runner and loves getting outside to explore the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with her golden retriever, Clifton, friends and family.
